The following health professionals are eligible for Acupuncture Canada membership:
- TCM doctors
- TCM practitioners
- Baccalaureate-level registered nurses
- Occupational therapists
- Naturopathic doctors
Membership in Acupuncture Canada is a requirement for taking our courses, with the exception of the Foundations course (AA1). You must be a member to be eligible for any of our subsequent courses.
Health professionals must be licensed to practice their profession within any Canadian jurisdiction and be in good standing. Applicants should provide proof of their credentials such as a current copy of their College license registration card.
Applicants must satisfy the Board of Directors that they have received a health profession education equivalent to that held by their Canadian counterparts. They must be licensed to practice in the country where they reside, and be in good standing.
Annual Membership Fees (February 1, 2015 – January 31, 2016)
$255.00 for annual membership, plus applicable taxes.
You may pay online. If you prefer, we will process your registration and fee for you. A service charge of $20.00 plus applicable taxes will be added to your transaction.
Fees are due and payable on or before February 1st of each year. Renewal applications received after February 15th will be subject to a late fee of $50.00 plus applicable taxes.
If you have reached 65 years of age the membership fee is $127.50 + GST/HST as applicable for each province. The penalty will apply if payment is made after February 15th.
For New Members Only:
If you are a new member note that effective August 1st of each year, the membership fee is pro-rated to half-year of the full membership fee.
